Not an Emergency, but it’s not something that can be dismissed or procrastinated in fixing. A plan must be formed, tested and executed in a timely and effective manner to prevent the crack from spreading and reoccurring. 

In the creation of this plan, you must work directly with the damn to determine its current state of structure, stability, and locate any additional weaknesses.

Input is needed from all, this is a community effort involving all who stand to be effected by if the damn were to fail. 

Parallel to the efforts of repairing the crack, the need exists to create contingency plans for the possibility that your repair fails; and further rapid deterioration of the damn continues. All though you hope for the best, you must plan for the worst.
