OWNING A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND TRAINING
Disregarding or assigning low priority to the things you hope you’ll never need, is an unfortunate trait of being human. We tend to brush off outlying events as extremes, telling ourselves “that’ll never happen here, or to me”. Yet they could, and sometimes they do.
Having both the proper equipment in place, and the training to use it effectively, is something most overlook. But that’s not all, without proper maintenance and refresher training, your saving grace may not be ready for action when you need it most.
This is why we frequently replace batteries in our smoke detectors and check our Fire Extinguishers annually.
